Trade Winds Motor Inn
If you prefer to be near the bustle of downtown,
choose The Trade Winds Motor Inn where the Studio is housed. The
Trade Winds offers Standard Rooms with one Queen or two Double beds.
It has an indoor pool, small health club and an onsite restaurant
which serves a Complimentary Continental Breakfast in addition to
its regular menu. The Trade Winds is around the corner from the
myriad of shops, restaurants and galleries on Main Street. It’s
across the road from the Public Landing and looks out at Rockland’s
famous Breakwater and Lighthouse. If you’d prefer to upgrade to a
Balcony Room or Suite, also at a discounted rate, call for more
information.

Glen Cove Inn and Suites
Glen Cove, 10 minutes North of Rockland on Route One,
is quiet and scenic. It offers an interesting assortment of rooms
overlooking the Cove and on out to Penobscot Bay. Smaller rooms have
one Queen bed; slightly larger rooms have two Double beds. There is
an outdoor pool, great for a dip, with a deck overlooking the Bay.
Although Glen Cove Inn provides a Complimentary Continental
Breakfast, there isn’t a restaurant on the premises. You can walk to
the nearby convenience store, but will need your own transportation
to get to the Studio and the downtown attractions.
